PARIS, March 16 (Xinhua) -- An armed young man on Thursday opened fire at a high school in Grasse, south France, injuring eight people, according to local reports.
A 17-year-old student of the Tocqueville high school stormed the building and opened fire at the headmaster.
Eight people were injured, news channel BFMTV reported, quoting a source with the French Ministry of the Interior.
The attacker, not known to intelligence services, was arrested but his motives remain identified.
Local police services advised residents on Twitter to stay at home as an operation is underway to seek for a possible second suspect, the report added.
