BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday sent congratulatory messages to an opening ceremony of the China-ASEAN tourism cooperation year, which was held in Manila, the Philippines.

CHICAGO, March 16 (Xinhua) -- The investment by Chinese firm CRRC Sifang in Chicago will bring more job opportunities and contribute to the local economy, said Cui Tiankai, the Chinese Ambassador to the United States, in a letter to congratulate a new railcar assembly plant Thursday.
Official statistics show the two-way investment between China and the United States totalled more than 170 billion dollars. LONDON, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Chinese mainland is home to two of the top three universities in Asia, according to research published on Thursday by the Times Higher Education (THE).
The THE Asia University Rankings for 2017 rated Peking University and Tsinghua University, both in the Chinese capital of Beijing, as the second and third best universities in the continent.
