RABAT, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan outfit Itihad Tanger has booked its place in the CAF Confederation Cup second round qualifiers after beating Guinea's Kaloum Star 3-0 on Saturday in the city of Tangier.
After its 1-0 loss in Guinea last week, the Moroccan squad largely dominated the second leg and scored three goals for a 3-1 aggregate victory.
At the Grand Stade de Tanger, Ahmed Hammoudan was the man of the match and scored all the goals in the 33rd, 60th, and 68th minutes.
Earlier Saturday, another Moroccan team Maghreb Fez also qualified after beating Sporting Gagnoa of Cote d'Ivoire 3-2 on aggregate despite its first leg loss 1-0.
