LONDON, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Mary Keitany broke the women-only marathon world record as she won a third London Marathon on Sunday.
Keitany, 35, who previously won the race in 2011 and 2012, clocked two hours 17 minutes and one seconds, breaking British athlete Paula Radcliffe's 'women's only' marathon world record of 2:17:42 set in 2005.
The women's fastest marathon time was still kept by Radcliffe when she won the mixed race in 2003 with 2:15.25.
