CHENGDU, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Four workers died Saturday at a tower construction site in southwest China's Sichuan Province, authorities said.
The four men fell into a foundation pit around 8 a.m., which was filled with water after days of heavy rain in the city of Huaying, said an official with the city's publicity department.
The construction is managed by a company under China Tower Co.
Police are investigating whether the men died from drowning or inhalation of gas.
