ULAN BATOR, Aug.13 (Xinhua) -- With the aim to help people to get involved in a healthy lifestyle and warn people against the lack of movement, the 1st international orienteering marathon Beautiful Ulan Bator 2017 had been organized in the central square of capital city of Mongolia on Sunday.
The Physical Culture and Sports Authority, Ulan Bator Physical Culture and Sports Committee and Grand China Sports Committee have jointly organized the 1st Beautiful Mongolia 2017.
Participants competed in categories: foreign tourists, family, friends and impressive Ulan Bator.
Foreign tourists formed a team of two to three persons and competed in the tourists category. In the family category was a kid between the ages of 3 to 11 with his or her father and mother. Those who above 18 years of age competed in friends category. Older people who aged between 50 and 60 took part in the impressive Ulan Bator category.
The teams who completed the tasks in short time and who won the first three places received a medal, certificates and vouchers for traveling abroad.
