Dollar trades in mid-110 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the mid-110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.51-52 yen compared with 110.43-53 yen in New York and 109.94-95 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1889-1890 dollars and 131.38-45 yen against 1.1881-1891 dollars and 131.28-38 yen in New York and 1.1984-1985 dollars and 131.76-80 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
