OTTAWA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua)-- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will lead a delegation to the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to be held on Sept. 19-21, the Canadian Prime Minister's Office said Wednesday.

At the UNGA, Trudeau is scheduled to deliver an address on the afternoon of Sept. 21.

Before this, the Canadian prime minister will be honored on Sept. 19 at the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Awards in New York for his leadership in advancing inclusiveness, diversity and economic growth.

On Sept. 20, Trudeau will speak to more than 6,000 youths at WE Day New York to mobilize youth action on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

WE Day is the manifestation of the WE movement, an ocean of people coming together to create impact, according to the Website of the WE movement, the www.we.org.

Trudeau will also participate in the Bloomberg Global Business Forum to discuss how leaders from businesses and governments can create a more transparent, equitable and sustainable framework for the global economy.
