HANOI, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam and Laos on Monday agreed to focus on implementing key projects such as energy and transport connectivity projects.
The pledge came as Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held talks with his Lao counterpart Thongloun Sisoulith here on Monday, according to the Vietnam Government Portal.
Thongloun is currently on a visit to the country.
The two sides also agreed to continue fostering and diversifying the exchange of high-level delegations and coordinate in realizing agreements reached by the two countries.
They also discussed measures to step up the bilateral trade exchanges, Vietnamese businesses' investment in Laos and cooperation in such fields as security, education and training.
