Two teams relegated from China's top flight league

BEIJING, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- With two more round of matches remaining, Liaoning Carsing and Yanbian Funde were relegated from China's top-flight soccer league after both clubs lost their 28th round matches.

On Saturday, Yanbian lost to Henan Jianye 2-1. Christian Bassogog scored the opener from a solo long run in the 6th minute, then the Africa Cup of Nations MVP netted his second in the 47th minute, before Boubacar Steve pulled one back for the home team in the 65th minute.

Meanwhile, Tianjin Quanjian edged Hebei China Fortune 2-1 on home turf with two goals from Zheng Dalun and Pato, after Zhang Lifeng scored the opener for the visitors.

On Friday, Liaoning became the first team to be relegated from the Chinese Super League, losing to Shandong Luneng 3-1.
