Dollar changes hands in lower 114 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 114 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, principally in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar fetched 114.17-18 yen compared with 114.13-23 yen in New York and 113.89-91 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1629-1629 dollars and 132.77-78 yen against 1.1613-1623 dollars and 132.63-73 yen in New York and 1.1651-1653 dollars and 132.70-74 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
