LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Oscar-winning American actor and dirctor Dustin Hoffman faced the second allegation of sexual harassment just one day after he was forced to apologize for his terrible behaviour to an intern in 1985.

Writer and producer Wendy Riss Gatsiounis claimed to the Variety Wednesday that Hoffman propositioned her in a meeting 26 years ago when she was in her 20s and Hoffman was 53.

That is their second meeting in New York to discuss a script, but out of her imagination, Gatsiounis recalled that Hoffman ask her a question, "have you ever been intimate with a man over 40?"

Gatsiounis said she attempted to laugh off the comment, but Hoffman continued his attempt. "He moves back, he opens his arms, and he says, 'It would be a whole new body to explore.'"

She said Hoffman also suggested to do some clothing shopping at a nearby hotel together, and she refused, then Hoffman left and she was told Hoffman was not interested in working with her.

Till Thursday morning, spokesperson of Hoffman declined to comment Gatsiounis's allegation, which is the second made against Hoffman in two days following a claim by film producer Anna Graham Hunter.

Hunter told Hollywood Report newspaper that when she was a production intern in 1985 working with Hoffman, the actor had groped her and spoken inappropriately about sex with her.

Hoffman responded to her claims, saying: "I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry."

Hoffman became the most recent movie industry heavyweight to be accused of sexual harassment after a bombshell story about Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein was exposed in early October, disclosing his 30-year pattern of sexual harassment and workplace intimidation against young female stars and employees.

After Weinstein, director James Toback, actor Kevin Spacey and film-maker Brett Ratner have swirled into the troubles.
