SINGAPORE, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 0.05 percent or 1.81 points to close at 3382.31.
A total of 2.05 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 936 million Singapore dollars (about 687.3 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 211 to 207.
The STI index closed down 0.33 percent or 11.11 points to close at 3380.5 on Thursday.
