DOHA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The emir of Qatar sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani said Tuesday that Qatar won't obey the demands by the Saudi-led countries.

According to the information office of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Qatari emir has delivered a speech in the opening session of the 46th ordinary session of the advisory council (Shura) on Tuesday morning.

"No signs blockading countries want to solve the crisis," the emir said.

Al-Thani stressed that Qatar would remain champion of the righteous and would be better without them "the blockading countries," and the siege did not affect the major exports of oil and gas.

"Qatar has pursued a policy of self-restraint, moderate response to maintain the fraternal relations among the gulf peoples," the emir added.

The emir mentioned that the gulf countries have no evidence for their claims towards the terrorism financing by Qatar.
