Hainan Province, a tropical island at the southern end of China, is a great attraction for the businessmen in Australia and New Zealand during a recent promotion event “Beautiful China Tour”.
“Beautiful China Tour” was held in the above two countries from Nov. 14 to Nov. 19 to promote China’s tourism.
During the event, what attracts the businessmen most are direct air route and preferential visa polices to Hainan.
A direct air route will open on January 30 of next year between Haikou, capital of Hainan, and Sydney, to meet the increasing demand for tourism and businesses, according to Hainan Airlines.
In New Zealand, many visitors attending the promoting activity showed keen interest in a lot of tourism products such as golf tours, rainforest tours, cultural tours, ocean tours in Hainan, which is warm all year round and has no winter at all.
Apart from Hainan, some 10 other provinces and cities across China also were highlights in the promotion activities led by the China National Tourism Administration.
