Chinese shares close mixed Friday

BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.38 percent to close at 3,487.86 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.21 percent lower at 11,296.27 points.
