BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Darius Adams scored game-high 45 points as Xinjiang beat Tongxi 125-108 to register their second straight win in the 30th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Tuesday night.
With comeback of Li Gen, defending champions Xinjiang opened the game with 40-33 lead after the first quarter. It looked as if the match would be a one-sided game.
However, from the second quarter, Tongxi's three foreign players started to make a difference, especially Pargo who contributed eight three-pointers in total. Xinjiang failed to enlarge the gap in the following two quarters, but Tongxi threw itself into confusion in the last quarter. Xinjiang then smashed Tongxi 125-108 to seal the win.
Darius Adams of Xinjiang added game-high 45 points and 8 rebounds. Pargo of Tongxi made team-high 34 points and Hickson collected 30 points.
Elsewhere, Guangdong beat Qingdao 119-104, Shandong won 126-100 over Sichuan, Jiangsu took Bayi down with 110-92, Beijing defeated Jilin 108-92.
