ISLAMABAD, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistani army said Sunday that at least three civilians, including two women, were injured in Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) dividing Kashmir.

Indian army "initiated unprovoked firing" along LOC in Battal, Hot Spring and Khuiratta sectors, a statement from the army's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.

"Three innocent citizens, including two women Saba Azad, 24 years and Nagina Aqsad, 36 years old, got injured," it said.

The army said Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian ceasefire violations and target those posts which initiated the unprovoked firing, adding that there are reports of "substantial damage."

Pakistan and India had declared ceasefire along the LoC and the Working Boundary in 2003. Both, however, routinely accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
