TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Three security policemen were killed and some others were injured in the clash with the "Deravish" sect in Iranian capital Tehran on Monday, semi-official Fars news agency reported.

The incident happened as the "mad bus" belonging to the "Deravish" raided police station in Tehran's Pasdaran street and hit the policemen.

According to the local reports, a group of the Iranian "Deravish Gonabadi" gathered in front of the police station on Monday in a protest to the restrictions posed on their activities.

The police spokesman Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi told official IRNA news agency that police arrested nine people over the murder of the policemen.

Police forces have fired air shots and tear gas to disperse the crowd, said the report.

Montazer al-Mahdi added that "Now, the situation on Pasdaran street is under the control of police."

The Gonabadi Order or "Deravish Gonabadi" is an Iranian Sufi order, whose followers live mainly in the cities such as Tehran and Ishafan.
