CARACAS, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Venezuelan opposition party Justice First (PJ) announced Tuesday that it will not participate in the presidential elections on April 22 or support any candidate.
In a statement, PJ said it would "not participate in this fraudulent process" given the "refusal of the national government to provide the guarantees for free and democratic elections established in the Constitution."
However, it added that they would continue their fight inside and outside the country to bring about a political change through free elections in Venezuela.
PJ is the second party to drop out of the elections, along with Popular Will (VP).
PJ and VP had previously been barred from participating in the presidential election by the National Electoral Council (CNE) for allegedly not renewing their registration as political parties.
