MADRID, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Atletico Madrid's Belgian international winger Yannick Carrasco looks to be on the verge of a move to newly promoted Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.

Carrasco was left out of the Atletico squad for Thursday night's Europa League game at home to Copenhagen with the Spanish press reporting the club has received an offer of over 30 million euros (about 37 million U.S. dollars) for the 24-year-old from Dalian Yifang.

Atletico Madrid President, Enrique Cerezo said that the club was "working on the issue."

Carrasco has had a difficult season with Atletico and although he has made 17 appearances in the Liga Santander, he has just eight starts from 24 matches and has completed less than 900 minutes on the pitch.

He is also thought to have a poor relationship with Atletico coach Diego Simeone, who is frustrated by his irregular form and lack of defensive commitment.

If the move is finalized, Carrasco will be the second important player to leave Spain for China this week, following Jonathan Viera's move from Las Palmas to Beijing Guoan for around 20 million euros.
