TIRANA, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Albanian government has decided to grant investment aid to small traditional goods workshops, sources from Albanian agriculture ministry said Monday.
The ministry said the grants as much as 50 percent of the investment had opened to applications since Feb. 28 and would end on March 28.
"Every person interested in producing traditional products in the traditional way will receive support 50 percent of the investment value workshops that cost up to 1 million lek (around 9,600 U.S. dollar), and 50 percent for the value of traditional equipment and machinery that cost no more than 500,000 lek," the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development explained in a statement.
The national scheme for agriculture support foresees 20 million euros funding for the agriculture sector and rural development.
