NEW YORK, March 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted 156km SSW of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Thursday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.6 degrees south latitude and 151.6 degrees east longitude.
