NEW YORK, April 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 7km NNE of Oda, Japan at 16:32:31 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 8.54 km, was initially determined to be at 35.2469 degrees north latitude and 132.5282 degrees east longitude.
