DOHA, April 25 (Xinhua) -- A wide range of human rights violations have been caused by the blockade imposed on Qatar by its Gulf neighbors, the state-run Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported on Wednesday.

The remarks were made by the Austrian ambassador Willy Kempel who addressed a lecture on human security which was organized by Qatar's Diplomatic Institute on Tuesday.

The Austrian envoy said his embassy has received a document of violations of human rights caused by the ongoing Gulf crisis from the National Human Rights Committee in Qatar, QNA said.

On June 5, 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Egypt severed diplomatic ties with Qatar over allegations of Doha's support for terrorism and interference in their internal affairs, which Qatar has all denied.
