LIBREVILLE, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Emmanuel Issoze Ngondet, who resigned on Tuesday, was reappointed on Thursday as Gabon's prime minister, according to a presidential decree.

Issoze-Ngondet has been instructed by President Ali Bongo Ondimba to form a new government, said the decree read by the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Jean Yves Teal.

Issoze-Ngondet resigned on May 1 following a decision of the Constitutional Court to dissolve the National Assembly for that its mandate has been exhausted for two years and the elections have not been organized on time.

The court dismissed the government for failing to organize the parliamentary elections.
