BiH auto show highlights electric vehicles

SARAJEVO, May 10 (Xinhua) -- The 3rd edition of Auto Show Week opens on Thursday in Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) city of Tuzla, some 120 km northeast of the capital, offering newest cars and electric vehicles to visitors.

At the opening ceremony, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Transport of Tuzla Canton Mirsad Gluhic said that this event contributes to the promotion of the most populous canton in BiH.

"This is also the event of educational character in the field of technology and new cars," said Gluhic.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy some 200 vehicles of 25 brands. At the first day of the fair, the newest model of luxurious Mercedes CLS was presented to visitors.

Director of Auto Show Week Zlatko Berbic noted that visitors have the opportunity to see the latest state-of-the-art models using diesel and petrol, but also electric vehicles.

"This year, presenters decided to show best products that they have. We have a real European ambience where we present different models, from scooters to the perfect machines that are currently the number one in the world," Berbic said.

Organized for the third time, this unique event brings the latest trends in world auto industry to visitors and professionals. The auto show will end on May 13.
