BUCHAREST, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese telecom giant Huawei presented this week to Romanian public its visions toward the global technologies of the future, under the theme "The caravan of innovative technologies," attracting people and companies willing to adjust to future technologies.

Huawei aims to present its innovative technologies displayed at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, including 5G solutions, All Cloud Network Towards 5G, Cloud and Network Synergy Empowers B2B and IoT as a service, Bill Liu, a Huawei senior account manager, told Xinhua on Friday.

"We bring this show here and to get this technology in Romania. We provided some highlighted solutions here for the Romanian market and to see where the Romania telecom market and enterprises are going in the future," added Liu.

The Romanian companies were interested in the futuristic offer because there is an ecosystem that works from the point of view of technology, said Huawei representative Vlad Doicaru, adding that "there are demands from the Romania market because there are more and more technologies that will require the functionalities of the 5G technologies, as we can offer them virtual reality, artificial intelligence, all kinds of applications."

The public was also attracted by the new Huawei P20 smartphones. "I think those might be the best Android smartphones of 2018, especially P20 Pro with its triple camera which was a revelation," said Andrei Ionescu, a young visitor.

According to a GfK study, the Romanian smartphone market was booming last year with a 39 percent rise on the telecom sector. But the market's tendency evolved towards better-performing devices. "Products in the middle and upper price classes, as well as those with a diagonal of over 5 inches, recorded significant increases," noted GfK.

The innovative technologies displayed by Huawei received a strong interest from the utilities companies, like the gas or electricity distributors, noted Doicaru.
