DUBAI, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Dubai fire crews on Sunday morning controlled a fire at a residential building and no injuries were reported, local media of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said.
The fire broke out at the lower floors of the 14-storey Zen Tower in the Marina district amid extremely windy and dusty weather, while all tenants of the tower safely evacuated, the report said.
Dubai daily Gulf news reported more than a dozen firefighters and emergency service vehicles were at the scene near Dubai's main artery road Sheikh Zayed Road.
Social media channels, such as twitter, showing the lower floors of the Zen Tower engulfed by flames and smoke as strong winds challenged Dubai civil defense's efforts to control the blaze quickly.
