BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua met with Lord Charles Powell, a member of the British House of Lords on Tuesday, and Hu said China was willing to boost cooperation with the UK in areas including the economy and trade, finance, the Belt and Road Initiative and poverty reduction.
Hu also met with EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan on Tuesday, calling on the two sides to make use of their advantages and have more pragmatic agricultural cooperation.
