Hong Kong, May 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted South of the Kermadec Islands at 014531 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.62 km, was initially determined to be at 34.551 degrees south latitude and 178.4162 degrees west longitude.
