TEHRAN, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Burglars stormed into the Iranian president's international legal affairs office in The Hague and stole more than 100,000 euros (117,905 U.S. dollars), Tasnim news agency reported Saturday.

Quoting a statement by Iran's presidential department, the report said the incident took place on May 16 morning, and the robbers could not buy enough time to finish their job, as some stuff and some of the stolen money were left behind.

The statement dismissed reports that classified documents were stolen in the raid, saying the office's archives, documents and computers have remained intact.

Some reports said earlier that all classified documents and secret files on Iran's legal action against the U.S. and the West's hostile measures were stolen.
