TUNIS, May 23 (Xinhua) -- A total of 13 individuals, suspected with links to the Islamic State (IS) group, were arrested in east Tunisia, Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced Wednesday.
The ministry said these individuals were planning to go to Syria to fight for IS. The suspects confessed that they had pledged allegiance to the terrorist group.
The 13 individuals have been taken into custody, added the ministry.
