BEIJING, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Bolivian Foreign Minister Fernando Huanacuni Mamani Tuesday in Beijing.

China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with Bolivia to lead the development of bilateral ties, expand practical cooperation under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative, and strengthen coordination in international and regional affairs, Wang said.

China-Latin America cooperation seeks to complement each other and achieve win-win outcomes, which benefit both peoples, he said, adding that China stands ready to continuously enrich the China-Latin America comprehensive cooperative partnership.

Hailing China as an important force in maintaining world peace and development, Huanacuni said Bolivia appreciates the support from China over a long period of time.

He said Bolivia is ready to work with China to enhance Belt and Road construction and the overall cooperation between Latin America and China.
