LUANDA, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions 1º de Agosto, which feel lonely in the lead of Angola's First Division Football Championship (Girabola2018), beat Cuando Cubango FC 1-0 on Wedensday.
The striker Jacques scored the only goal of the match played in the municipal stadium of Menongue, for the 15th round of the championship.
The match had not been played at the due time because of 1º de Agosto's involvement in the African Champions League.
However, the defending champions still has an away game in hand against Sporting de Cabinda and should it win the game, 1º de Agosto will consolidate their leadership.
