LONDON, June 4 (Xinhua) -- The public inquiry hearings will resume here Monday to look into the cause of the Grenfell Tower fire that killed 72 people a year ago.
The hearings are the second phase of the inquiry that came after seven full days of tributes to the tragedy's victims. The inquiry's first substantive hearings were conducted late last month.
Five expert reports will be published during this phase, which will also look at the tower's safety measures and evacuation on the June 14 blaze last year.
The inquiry is expected to last around 18 months.
This stage of the process will begin with a statement by a barrister representing the inquiry itself and the publication of expert reports.
