BERLIN, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Hamburg airport has returned to its normal operational mode again after suffering a critical power outage, a spokesperson confirmed on Monday.
According to the spokesperson, only 10 landings and 23 departures out of a total of 214 connections were still cancelled on Monday.
A power outage caused by a short circuit had forced Germany's fifth largest airport to close down entirely on Sunday, leading to severe disruptions to traveller's plans.
Hamburg airport is serviced by around 60 airlines. The regional hub recorded more than 17 million annual passengers in 2017.
