SARAJEVO, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) Independent Block (NB) on Saturday afternoon nominated its president Senad Sepic as the candidate for member of BiH tripartite presidency at the upcoming general elections.

After the party's Convention, Sepic emphasized that he will vow to motivate his colleagues to talk about topics that will help improve standards of living, that BiH workers will have better salary, students will have a chance to be educated better and pensioners will have a decent life.

He stressed the importance of new people to enter politics, the ones who have new ideas and solutions that will build up BiH, enabling workers to be protected and their salaries to be increased.

"Our goal is peace, stability, safe life and an efficient state for all peoples and citizens, where young people will love to stay and work," Sepic concluded.

Senad Sepic, 41, is an incumbent member of Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and for the last 16 years, he has been engaged in politics. He will run for the Bosniak member of BiH tripartite presidency, which represents the three major ethnic groups of Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats.

BiH will hold general elections on Oct. 7, 2018, the Central Election Commission announced earlier in May.
