BERLIN, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Werder Bremen have completed the transfer of Swedish right back Felix Beijmo from Djurgardens, the Bundesliga club confirmed on Tuesday.
The "Green-Whites" strengthen their defence for the upcoming season as the 20-year-old inked an undisclosed "long-term" deal.
"Felix is a young and very ambitious player who should revive the competition on the right wing. We are happy that we're able to convince him of Bremen," sporting director Frank Baumann said.
Bremen's new arrival made 37 outings during his two seasons with Djurgardens.
"Werder is a well known Bundesliga club with great potential. I am really looking forward to this new challenge and the club, the stadium and the extraordinary atmosphere I have heard a lot about," Beijmo said.
The "Werderaner" have finished the Bundesliga season 2017-2018 on the 11th position of the standings. Enditem
