Zambia names provisional squad to face Burundi in U-20 Africa Cup qualifier

LUSAKA, June 13 (Xinhua) -- The technical bench of the Zambia Under-20 national soccer team on Wednesday named a provisional 28-member squad that will face Burundi in the 2019 Niger Africa Cup of Nations first leg final round qualifier.

Charles Bwale, the team's assistant coach, who unveiled the team, has included four foreign-based players.

According to a statement released by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the team will go into a residential camp on June 17 to start preparing for the qualifier matches to be played on July 14 and July 21.

The winner over two legs will qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
