SUVA -- Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama on Wednesday clarified that the docking of Chinese vessel Yuanwang 7 in the Suva Port is for getting normal supplies, local media reported.
The ship and her sister ships have been using Suva as a port of call to take on bunker and fresh food supplies, he said, adding that the crew goes shopping and eat in restaurants in Fiji, and every trip into Fiji puts millions of Fijian dollars into the South Pacific island nation's economy. HONG KONG -- Hong Kong customs on Wednesday seized about 200,000 suspected illicit cigarettes with an estimated market value of about 500,000 Hong Kong dollars (about 63,700 U.S. dollars) at a border control point.

SINGAPORE -- Economists and analysts polled in the survey of professional forecasters kept their forecast for Singapore's 2018 economic growth at 3.2 percent, according to the survey result issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Wednesday.
