LJUBLJANA, June 15 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic Party (SDS), the winner of the Slovenian parliamentary election in early June, has announced on Twitter that it would send a draft coalition agreement to "coalition partners" next week, confirming that all parliamentary parties would get the document.

The SDS, which won 25 seats in Slovenia's 90-member legislature, has been tight-lipped about its post-election activities. However, statements by other parliamentary party representatives imply that informal talks had been taking place.

According to the Slovenian Press Agency STA on Friday, it was informed by the SDS that the winner party tweeted on Thursday evening that the party expert council had held a meeting to evaluate the election results and announced that the coalition agreement would be ready for potential partners next week.

While the SDS's advantage in the election is considerable, many parties have refused to cooperate with it and Marjan Sarec, the head of the runner-up Marjan Sarec List (LMS), has been talking to other parties in an apparent effort to put together a coalition of its own.

The SDS leader and election winner Janez Jansa had previously said that he would not accept the mandate to put together the government if somebody else managed to put a coalition together before him.

Meanwhile, Slovenian President Borut Pahor was officially notified on Friday of the final results of the election on June 3 and called the maiden session of the new parliament for June 22.
