FRANKFURT, June 15 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 96.55 points, or 0.74 percent, to close at 13,010.55 points.
Commerzbank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 4.36 percent, followed by German airlines Lufthansa and Deutsche Bank, which lost 3.60 percent and 2.37 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON, tire specialist Continental and personal-care company Beiersdorf were the top three winners, rising 2.06 percent, 1.76 percent and 1.45 percent respectively.
German multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 1.29 billion euros (1.49 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
