LOS ANGELES, June 15 (Xinhua) -- An armed man was arrested by police after blocked travel lane on the Hoover Dam bridge Friday noon, located on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the armed man stopped the truck and blocked travel lanes at the bridge then moved the vehicle at slow speeds along the bridge. The policemen stood off with the suspect from about 12:00 am, the local ABC 3 channel reported, saying photos posted online by witnesses at the scene showed the vehicle had notes taped to it requesting President Trump to "release the reports."

The incident was concluded about one hour later after the suspect moved out of an armored vehicle blocking one the bridge and crossed into Arizona state where he was took into custody without any incident.

Hoover Dam, a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression. It was named after former President Herbert Hoove since 1947.
