MOSCOW, June 16 (Xinhua) -- A taxi driver lost control of his car and ran into pedestrians on the sidewalk in central Moscow Saturday, injuring at least seven people, local police said in a press release.
The taxi ploughed into a crowd on Ilyinka Street outside Red Square, and seven people applied for medical help, according to the police.
The driver has been detained and an investigation is underway, the police said.
