TEHRAN, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Turkish citizens living in Iran voted for their country's presidential and parliamentary elections on Sunday.
Turkish expatriates cast their ballots in polling stations in the Iranian cities of Tehran, Tabriz and Oroumiyeh, Tasnim news agency reported.
According to the report, 830 Turkish expatriates in Tehran and 1,100 Turks in Tabriz and Oroumiyeh were eligible to vote.
Voting for the presidential and parliamentary elections of Turkey is currently held in 60 countries, Ambassador of Turkey to the Republic of Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral said on Sunday.
In Turkey, parliamentary and presidential elections will be held on June 24.
