WARSAW, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Polish Agriculture Minister, Krzysztof Jurgiel, resigned due to personal reasons, the ministry said in a statement Monday.
According to the government spokeswoman, Joanna Kopcinska, the resignation has already been accepted by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Krzysztof Jurgiel served as Agriculture Minister since November 2015, in a government formed under Prime Minister Beata Szydlo. He continued to hold his post in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki.
The new agriculture minister is to be announced soon.
