ANKARA, June 19 (Xinhua) -- A total of 45 people were injured early Tuesday in a bus accident in Turkey's western province of Aydin.
The bus was heading to Istanbul from the popular Aegean holiday resort town of Bodrum. The passengers and driver were trapped after the bus veered off the road at a junction, Turkish state-run Anadolu Agency reported, citing gendarme, police and medical sources.
The injured were extracted by rescue teams and transported to nearby hospitals. Two of the injured were in seriously condition.
