NEW YORK, June 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 33 km WSW of Port-Vila, Vanuatu at 21:13:32 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 21.82 km, was initially determined to be at 17.819 degrees south latitude and 168.0229 degrees east longitude.
