JERUSALEM, June 25 (Xinhua) -- NICE, one of the largest technology organizations in Israel, announced Monday to stop using El Al Israeli Airlines over the national carrier's alleged discrimination against women.

This week, on an EL AL flight from New York to Tel Aviv, the company's crew reportedly moved female passengers from their seats on demand of ultra-orthodox Jewish travelers.

Before the incident, the national airline had received repeated complaints from passengers who were asked to change their seats at the request of ultra-orthodox passengers.

NICE's CEO Barak Eilam wrote on his social media account that "at NICE we don't do business with companies that discriminate against race, gender or religion."

"NICE will not fly with El Al until they change their practice and actions that are discriminating (against) women," Eilam wrote.

In response, El Al's CEO Gonen Usishkin said that his company is "an egalitarian company regardless of religion, race or gender."

"In the future, a passenger who refuses to sit next to another one will be immediately dropped off the flight," Usishkin stressed.
